Description: Learn to knit a toe-up sock using a formula which will be provided in class. Students will learn all about the structure of a sock and how to create each section in small increments divided over a few weeks. It is recommended that students have knit a cuff down sock prior to class but it’s not mandatory.
Materials: Fingering / Sock weight yarn – 350- 400 yards of your choice.
Needles: one set US 1 (2.25mm) or US 2 (2.75mm) 40” circular needle / DPNs
Recommended tools: darning needle, measuring tape, scissors, stitch markers and desired materials for note taking.
