Description: Want to learn how to make a basic sock? This class teaches how to make socks from the cuff down to the toe including learning the heel flap, turning the heel and working the gusset. Once these basic techniques are learned, you’ll be able to knit a large variety of sock patterns. There will be required homework between classes.
Materials: Fingering / Sock weight yarn - at least 350 yards. Suggested yarns: Wonderland Yarns Cheshire Cat, Baah La Jolla, Oink Pigments Sock yarn, anything else you think looks fabulous Needles: one US 1 (2.75 mm) 32” or 40” circular needle. Notions: tapestry needle, stitch markers
