Hei Cowl - Fridays, August 19 & 26, 11am-12:30pm

Availability: In stock (4)

Instructor: Shannon Baisden Fenimore
Level: Advanced Beginner
Max 4 Students

Description: This wonderful cowl by Olga Buraya-Kefelian looks great in just about any yarn, but it really pops in a Wonderland mini-skein gradient pack or any other sport weight gradient yarn.

In this class, you’ll learn the simple modifications to make the cowl using one Wonderland mini-skein pack (if that’s the yarn you’d like to use), how to follow the easy charted and written
instructions in the pattern, and how to do the crochet cast on the pattern calls for.

***Before the class you should know: The very basics of knitting. How to cast on/bind off, knit and purl in the round. How to do a chain crochet stitch.

Materials: This cowl calls for a 420 yards of sport weight yarn. If using a Wonderland Yarns mini-skein pack, I’ll teach you the modification so only one pack will be needed. You’ll need a US size 5 (3.75 mm) 24” circular needle. A size F (3.75 mm) crochet hook, a stitch marker, and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

All materials, including the pattern, are available at Yarn It and Haberdashery.

This class is also available as a private lesson.
