Description: Learn to knit colorwork by making the Merry and Bright Hat by Mary Pranica. Knitters will play with multiple colors in order to achieve something that you will love to wear for years to come. Those taking the class will learn the technique of colorwork and how to apply this to a charted pattern. Finally, knitters will finish the class by learning how to block their work so that it is ready to wear!
Materials:
Blue Sky Fibers Woolstock Bundle (or equivalent amounts of worsted weight yarn in 7 colors)
Weight: Worsted
252 yards total
Needles: US 8 - 5.0 mm or needles needed to attain gauge.
Recommended tools: darning needle, measuring tape, scissors, stitch markers and desired materials for note taking.
