Description: You know how to make motifs, you know how to fill in and now you are ready for the next steps but are finding it difficult to find patterns and instructions for finished pieces? Now is the time to let your creativity take control.
During this 4 day course we will walk through every step of the process of designing and then creating.
Session 1: In this session we will be working together to bring out the vision for your piece. We will discuss all the different aspects of design, including yarn weights, textures, finishing requirements and formulate a plan to make your vision come to life, then we will sketch it. (Don’t be scared by this, you do not have to be an artist to make this happen)
Session 2: We will be making motifs from patterns as well as creating our own motifs from images. We will be looking at how to adjust our plans based on fit and finish of motifs.
Session 3: During this session we will be finishing up our projects with fill in and final touches.
Session 4: This session is just for you, and will be scheduled during session 1. This session is an hour of one on one support for you to ask any questions and get any help you need to make your project successful.
