Description: Everyone’s favorite woodland creature signifies the beginning of Spring, of course! In this class we will be adding a 3-dimensional aspect to a flat piece of felt in the shape of a jackalope. You will be taught how to add color and detail as well as definition, clean up your work, and utilize non-felted items to increase the attractiveness of your creations.
Materials: For this class you will need medium and small-sized felting needles, wool roving in brown, grey, cream, and black, two pieces of 3” square piece of felt in whatever color you like (this will be for the adhering of the roving and the backing once felting is complete, a foam block, needle and thread to either match or contrast your backing color, broach pins in the shape of tree branches or antlers (sold at Yarn It & Haberdashery).
