Description: Learn to make a spring-themed shawl using mosaic knitting techniques taught in class. This course focuses on learning how to read a charted pattern using a slipped stitch process. Each knitter will leave the class confident in how to decode a charted pattern and with a lovely shawl which reminds us of the beauty of spring!

Materials: DK Weight Yarn in two colors, 1000 - 1020 yards (914 - 933 m) total/ 548 yards main color (MC) and 448 yards contrast color (CC)
Gauge: 20 stitches and 38 rows = 4 inches in Garter stitch/Pattern stitch
Needles: US #6 / 4 mm and US #8 / 5 mm (or as required to meet gauge)
Pattern can be purchased in-store via ravelry
Recommended tools: tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers
