Description: Learn to steek on a smaller scale using the “Steek This Coffee Cozy” by Rachel Henry pattern. In this workshop students will arrive with their cozy knit up and ready to steek. Knitters will be guided through the steps of steeking using a crochet method to secure their floats. Finally, makers will knit a button band and attach buttons to complete their work!
Materials: Your completed coffee cozy (Pattern is free on Ravelry- “Steek This Coffee Cozy” by Rachel Henry)
Worsted Weight Yarn- 5 colors of your choice in a small quantity.
Needles: US #5 / 3.75 mm DPNS or circular needle with 32 inch cable
Recommended tools: darning needle, measuring tape, scissors, stitch markers and desired materials for note taking.
