***Prereqs: must have completed Knitting 101 class and/or be able to knit, purl, cast on and bind off. (Don’t worry if you don’t yet feel you do it well. We’ve got you covered!)
Description: As a continuation of the Knitting 101 class, students will learn a new cast on, how to increase and decrease, cables or basic lace (students’ choice), and basic pattern reading. Time permitting: knitting in the round, or striped colorwork.
Materials: Worsted weight yarn that is smooth with size 8, 9 OR 10 needles - straight or circular. Avoid dark colors and fuzzy yarns where it is hard to see the individual strands. 100% Cotton yarn is recommended so students can leave with usable wash cloths.
