***Prereqs: Completion of Knitting 101 AND 102 classes and/or Knitter must be able to knit, purl, cast on, bind off, work basic increases and decreases.***
Description: As a continuation of the Knitting 101 and 102 class sequence, students will learn a new cast on and how to knit a hat by knitting in the round. Class includes tips and tricks for this type of project in addition to following a basic beanie hat pattern. Pattern included.
Materials: DK weight yarn that is smooth with size 6, DPNs or 16” circular needles. Avoid dark colors and fuzzy yarns where it is hard to see the individual strands. Fingering weight yard held double is a good alternative as well. Please arrive in time to wind your skein before class.
