Description: Learn how to knit a basic lace pattern via a simple lace chart.
Many lace patterns are written in both written instructions and via charts that look like bizarre Excel spreadsheets filled with slashes, dashes, and all sorts of various and funky shapes. Join this class to learn how to decipher the symbols and translate a charted lace pattern into beautiful knitted lace.
Patterns along with tips and tricks will be provided in class.
Materials: Fingering weight yarn in a SOLID color in a light to medium shade.
Needles: US Size 4-5-6 (3.5mm, 3.75mm, 4.0mm) DPNs or 32” circular needles or longer.
Notions: Yarn Needle, Removable stitch markers
