Needle Felting: Cat and Ghost Pins - Monday, October 12, 3:30-5:30pm

Description: Are you a cat person? Want to show your scary side? Come make a purr-fectly adorable needle felted kitty cat pin and/or a spooooooooky ghost pin, magnet, or keychain for the Halloween season! You will choose from an assortment of super cute kitty cookie cutters. Ideas for cat faces will also be available for your choosing. Tracy will help you keep your design simple or make it as fancy-shmancy as you’d like!

*Note: more detailed options and embellishments will be available for the more experienced felter as time permits.

Materials: You will need:
at least 2 medium (38 gauge) needles. Needles break easily, so it’s good idea to have a spare or 2 just in case.
Black and White wool roving. The brands sold at Yarn It come in approximately 6.3 g (.2 oz) and are more than enough.
These materials may be purchased in-store before class.

All other supplies will be provided, including eyes, felting pad, needle holders, finger protectors (safety first!), a multi-needle holder for you to try out, cookie cutters, templates, glue, scissors, pin backings, magnets, and keychains,—as well as a handout of Tracy’s Felting Tips and Tricks and a “Hand Made with Love” sticker if you’d like to give your cat or ghost as a gift.
