Description: ‘Tis the season to celebrate! Let’s make a felted mistletoe to hang in your home. We will work step-by-step to create this marvelous mistletoe that is sure to make your partner swoon! Merry Kissmas!
*Note: more detailed options and embellishments will be available for the more experienced felter as time permits.
Materials:
- You will need at least 2 medium (38 gauge) needles. Needles break easily, so it’s good idea to have a spare or 2 just in case. I’ll have extras on hand as well.
- You will also need green and red wool roving. The Wistyria brand sold at Yarn It comes in 6.3 g (.2 oz) and is more than enough. I will have extra wool as needed.
Please note: You can purchase your materials at Yarn It before class.
The rest of these supplies will be provided: felting pad, needle holders, finger protectors (safety first!), a multi-needle holder for you to try out, scissors, and ribbon—as well as a handout of Tracy’s Felting Tips and Tricks and a “Hand Made with Love” sticker if you’d like to give your mistletoe as a gift.
