Description: Let’s get pumped for pumpkins! Come make a needle felted pumpkin in-the-round or create a pumpkin pin using a cookie cutter! We will go through the process together, step-by-step, and you will be amazed at your gourd-geous work—it’s be the pick of the patch! Orange you glad it’s pumpkin season?!
*Note: more detailed options and embellishments will be available for the more experienced felter as time permits.
Materials:
You will need at least 2 medium (38 gauge) needles. Needles break easily, so it’s good idea to have a spare or 2 just in case. Tracy will have extras on hand as well.- You will also need orange wool roving. The Wistyria brand sold at Yarn It comes in 6.3 g (.2 oz) and is more than enough. Tracy will have extra green and brown and other colors of wool as needed.
Please note: You can purchase your materials at Yarn It before class.
The rest of these supplies will be provided: felting pad, needle holders, finger protectors (safety first!), a multi-needle holder for you to try out, and scissors—as well as a handout of Tracy’s Felting Tips and Tricks and a “Hand Made with Love” sticker if you’d like to give your pumpkin as a gift.
