Wet Felting: Escape to a Seascape - Monday, November 16, 3:30-5:30pm

Description: Let’s create a beautiful seascape to escape to this fall. We will overlay thin whisps of wool to create our scene and then place it in a plastic bag with soapy, warm water. We will agitate our seascape by rubbing and rolling the bag. Our finished product will be a gorgeous seascape that will get you excited for your next vacay!

*Note: more detailed options and embellishments will be available for the more experienced felter as time permits.

Materials:
You will need 2 medium (38 gauge) needles. Needles break easily, so it’s good idea to have a spare just in case. I’ll have extras on hand as well.
You will also need wool roving in different shades of blue. The brands sold at Yarn It come in approximately 6.3 g (.2 oz) and are more than enough. Tracy will have extra wool for the sand and clouds and other colors of wool as needed.
You can purchase your materials at Yarn It before class.

The rest of these supplies will be provided: felting pad, needle holders, finger protectors (safety first!), a multi-needle holder for you to try out, and scissors—as well as a handout of Tracy’s Felting Tips and Tricks and a “Hand Made with Love” sticker if you’d like to give your seascape as a gift.
